★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Cantonese-style dry noodle (they also serve soup-based) dish is a must-give-it-a-try if you're near Malim Jaya. (C'mon, get away from Jonker for a change! ;)) Located just behind Public Bank, Grandpa Kitchen serves quite an impressive menu in addition to their famous traditional noodle dishes. The mouthwatering and savoury boxing fried chicken, for example, is indeed a crowd puller.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the ambience of this restaurant. Although not spacious, it is comfortable enough. The BBQ pork noodle is top choice here, with home made wantan noodle. The prawn dumplings are great too. Reasonably priced. Can come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few better tasting wanton noodles in Melaka. Dumplings are filled with generous portion of fillings.
Shrimp dumpling is good but the meat dumpling has a smell which i find unpleasant.
Overall nice place for dinner with ample parking space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location: Hidden on the back part of the street but still quite easy to spot. Nearby have a parking spot, so need to worry about it.
Environment: Looks simple and clean.
Price: Reasonable price, just a little bit more compared to hawker price. Considering the shop is air conditioned and quality of food then I would say cheap.
Food: The food is quite good, the dumpling and wantan tasted good but lack of the wow factor. I prefer the dry version as it gives more flavour to the noodles then the soup as it is just regular tasting broth. The dim sum is not their specialty.
Service: Nice and friendly staff.
Overall, nice place to have a meal with small group of people. The price is worth for you to come for another time. Food can be improved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this place for the 1st time and try their noodles with big wan tan. Not bad. Portion is a bit small for guys so need to order large bowl. They have other type of side orders too if you want to add. Air conditioner needs to improve. Place is clean. Pricing is fair as compare to the portion and ingredients they give. This place is recommended.
