★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming from kl, this gsc is super fancy and luxurious. Only a couple among the many of gsc at kl is like this. I watch standard hall and the seats are already super comfy and luxurious. Leather seats!! So comfortable omfg. Staffs are very friendly and helpful! Protip: Wednesdays are super cheap at rm12 per tix!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my first visit when I went to Johor Bahru for some urgent chores.

The mall is big, spacious and shops in the mall are planned in good order. Lots of shops with local and foreign items to choose from.

A variety of eateries are also available which makes me to drop into Thai Express.

A thai cuisine midrange affordable priced restaurant offers all the Thai menu that will suit our tastebuds.

During this Pandemic, the restaurant observed strict rules of body temperature scanning, hand sanitizers and registration through MySejahtera is a must.
.
Noticeable too, that alternate table are marked so that no one should sit there., i.e observing the social distancing and each table, only two diners are allowed.

Well kept clean restaurant and friendly staff greets guests with information of the guidelines to follow during the Pandemic . The staff too did explain what kind of food available if guests are unsure what to dine.

Waiting time is not long and the ambiance of the restaurant is good
.
I do recommend for friends and families to dine and experience the food here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best cinema in jb. U can choose imax, d box, 4d-x and normal one, if u come before 12pm the price for one is only rm12. There are also food and beverages, their burger was really nice . There are also a family friendly hall, where kids can play while watching movie

The equipment was fantastic including charger, blankets.
The bed was perfect which can adjust the position.
The service was nice.
However, the fried food was terrible which was cold and the source was bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very impressive plush and automated seats. Nice sound system. Queue for pop corn collection on Friday 210pm show is quite long. Only 2 counters Need to allocate >30 minutes. Got my popcorn at 230pm.?. Some fashionable teens seated besides me, kept talking, using phone, put both feet on the chair, go out of cinema and back in repeatedly. Multitasking generation .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why 5–star? Cause it’s a special experience for me. First time to GSC Mid Valley Southkey, main reason being we wanna watch Dr Strange and suitable timing is this and the hall was PLAY+
Little did I know what I have gotten us into at the point of time when I was buying tickets online. Just thought the name is nice should be some special seats etc, well it is special with kids couches ??
Queue at food counter was long and yes a bit of waiting time, our movie was like 10++ at night so our waiting time was less than 30-min which is fast as compared to others. Probably best if you reach like 1-hour earlier if you prefer to enter hall earlier like me.
When we were shown to the Play + theatre downstairs, we saw like those indoor playground type. Then the lady staff asked to see the ticket and asked if we brought our socks. Definitely my first time wearing not shoes slippers but socks in cinema outside. All patrons have to leave their shoes in the rack and change into socks. We bought on the spot at RM 3 per pair with decent quality tbh.
When we entered the theatre, here’s comes the surprise. Big slide with a bubble ball pen, tiny couches, little chairs, rocking chair animal, larger couches and normal cinema single seater. Then I know why the last two rows was available (usually is last rows sold out first), cause last two rows are normal cinema seats for people like us haha.
Throughout the two hours, I witnessed how kids can play and run continuously non stop; watched a movie in a non-lights-out setting coupled with background sound of kids shouting and talking.
Movie is nice, it’s Dr Strange.
Overall a special experience, you can try it if you’re alright with the noise and bright movie settings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was awesome, been here twice on separate occasion. Once was for a standard hall, and this time I bought tickets for Play+. The lounge and hall are really family-friendly as promised, and my little siblings really enjoyed their time here. The bathroom was made for kids, so it was very easy and nice too. Overall, a great experience.
