★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 5 stars are for the beautiful scenery at the top and how peaceful and soothing the ambient from above. Before you ascend it, make sure you know your limit. Very rocky trail and slippery but with short distant to the top. Just hope the local authorities could somehow upgrade the place. The resting hut at the top indeed in a very sad condition. It has potential to be great and if manage properly, it could well be the place's glorious trademark. 1 star for the local authorities almost empty effort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice trail.. Not for beginner as it has steep path.. Took the whole of our entourage consist of multiple background about 1.5 hours to reach top.. Try took pics at the cliff.. Not a nice view now as paddy field harvested already and the sea view had too much cloud..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best hiking trail in Alor Setar. Suitable for young and senior age. It would take about 30-40 minute to reach at the main peak if you fit enough. You will hike at about 100 ° slope for most of the trail. Recommended to hike when the paddy field is greening with clear sky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try to sit and observe if you are lucky to meet monkey lutung, they are rare species. We saw rubbish at the peak and at base, I hope all will take more responsible to take care of this beautiful mountain. We all play a part to reserve this mountain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relatively easy hike, a lot of inclined rocky stairwell. Please make sure to use suitable and comfortable shoes. The rock surface can be slippery after rain, take precaution. Most importantly dont leave any trash behind. The peak offers great landscape of Alor Setar and all the paddy field below. Really great for photoshoot depending on viewing distance. Recommended to climb during the evening to avoid crowd of people especially during weekend.
