β β β β β Under state park forestry. Compulsory for a state park guide for every 7 person hiking. Declaring garbage is a must before and finish hike. Average hike took 8 hours via Asahan.

β β β β β Please bring whatever is necessary things in your beg for this gunung ledang hiking trip. Because you need to declare everything before and after especially plastic begs.
If you are driving, please turn in when you see this "Gunung Ledang Johor National Park" at the road side. Just go straight to the end then you reach the car park and registration counter.

β β β β β You can't go hike urself without attached to a guide. A lot of ladders when reach to submit. Total spent 5 hours for me to going up and down.

β β β β β My favourite mountain in the world. The best climb to train for bigger mountains. Have been up a total of 21 times and will continue to bring climbers from Singapore and Malaysia to this beautiful mountain. Its 1276m and you can either climb in 1 day to the summit (7hrs) via sagil side or camp up there as well. Sagil side you camp near the twin waterfall which is very beautiful and Via Asahan (This trek) we camp higher and have a beautiful sunrise. Best treks to go for over a weekend from Singapore!

The trail was pretty challenging. A rewarding hike despite the mediocre view (more like a training for a more difficult hike) . The trail was well equipped with sturdy ladders and ropes, reflectors and signboards/ maps. The workers/ guides there were very professional and helpful.
Was happy to see many things that I havenβt seen before (one of them being river turtle), and hear stories that were new to me ?. Overall it was enjoyable. Tiring, but enjoyable. Make sure to train before going !
