★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came by here hopeful of a natural hike, instead told that "sorry waterfall closed" on Monday. As if Waterfall is something that requires to be operated. Closed on all Mondays apparently, even public holidays to the dismay of us tourists as well as locals. This illustrates that stupidity of Malay authorities knows no bounds. They still pay a staffer to tell people it's closed. Oh, and nothing is stopping the local parking uncle from collecting 3myr from each car, even though they turn around in 5 mins after learning about the closure. Typical Malaysia

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place, but there should be some clear updates on operating hours. Additionally the Perhilitan fellas must be present manning the booth or be on standby in case of emergencies.

Visitor and hiker can get information from Facebook page or Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri to check either it's closed or open to visitors/hiker.
*On January 2022 it were closed and resume open on early February.
** No food and drinks allowed when u enter or passing the entrance gate of Gunung Pulai. The officer will do spot check and explain what do and don't at this area. The officer very helpful and attentive. Food & drink atas budi bicara pegawai renjer hutan.
***Since the food and drinks restrictions, hiking and waterfall area very clean, no trash spotted, even monkey ask' u to give them food ? Be careful
