★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place isnt for extrawaganza holiday, but if you wanted to stay in a homestay with kg feeling.. you can consider it, i grab a house of which was so big for only rm150 per night (i can also bring a bus but still can fit in it) the shop is just a small2 like shop and the inside of gunung reng is only my mother & siblings went inside, i did not go in. surround it just empty. its only a gunung with a small pound of water beside it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy to find and explore cave situated along the East-west highway en route federal route no 4 near Jeli. However the signboard and the information board are a bit faded that need some upgrading work. Drive along the road next to the mosque and you would find ample parking spaces. There is a river next to the cave offering places for picnics. Easy to climb and explore inside the cave. Be careful as some steps could be very slippery going up the cave.

Locality at Kampung Gunong in the District of Jeli, Kelantan Darul Naim, Malaysia.
It's close to Kampung Batu Melintang and the East - West Highway (Gerik-Jeli), about 15km from Jeli Town. Gunung Reng is a leisure/recreation spot by Pergau River next to the An Nur Mosque. It's a unique and historical place that's famous by it self - mythical and has its own story with a spectacular view of limestone mountain/hill outcrop containing a bats infested caves. ?
There's a spacious parking area, shop, food stalls, mosque, child playground, homestay, toilet etc. Gunung Reng is suitable for recreational and outdoor activities. You can take a dip in a shallow and clean river water, hiking/climb up the mountain or explore (caving) the caves like Gua Harimau, Gua Gajah, Gua Tengkorak, Gua Penunggu and a few others...
At dusk hours you might be treated to the sight of thousands bat emergence from the cave looking for their suppers... ?
