★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In spite of looking a bit fancy for a town like KP, the food is not unlike what you might find at a typical kopitiam. The poor service, quality and even presentation of food needs to improved vastly. The prawn noodles seem like something one might serve at a primary school canteen, food just meant to fill your belly. The Hailam coffee is lousy too. It's really a shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Something is not right with Hailam Kopitiam. I used to enjoy food served here with family and friends. But a few days back it was different when I dined with my family. We had overcooked lamb chop (almost crispy), stale iced lemon, 'roti kaya' which was tastless and frozen chendol with stale coconut milk. However, the service was still good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a long wait.. on google it opens at 8.30am but order can only be made at 9.30am. Half an hour later food still doesn't arrive. It used to be a nice place to lepak and quite efficient service too. What is happening to this kopitiam???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Tom yum bee Hoon is a must try!!! We also ordered a few bowls of Chenddol and it was quite tasty too. However, the service was very very slow , but probably because we were such a big group. Even the drinks took really long!
