β β β β β Enjoyed the free trial class for both kendo and tankendo. Now, I'm enrolled in tankendo! You should come and have a go at some martial arts even without any prior experience in basically anything! ?

β β β β β The dojo is primarily led by Edwin-sensei who is an experienced kendoka. I learnt part of my basics from him from all those years ago and it is heartening to see his enthusiasm to teach has not waned over the years.
The dojo is very welcoming for new students and it's good to see beginners and the more experienced players training together to bring up each others' levels.
Edwin sensei is also very knowledgable about iaido, being the highest ranked ZNKR practitioner in Malaysia and I have had the good fortune to practice with him.

β β β β β Who would've thought one would be able to learn the art of kendo and iaido from true masters right here in Malaysia? The classes are great for enthusiasts and practitioners alike, even if your only reference to the Japanese martial arts have only been through a screen. Training can be fun, but also intense, so it's a great alternative to breaking a sweat and you'll look cool doing it.

β β β β β Have been practising kendo and iaido at this Hamachidori since 2019. It is a very friendly community but they also train hard. The instructors are very experienced and qualified. We train 3 days a week and the size and length of the classes will ensure you have more than enough training for the very low monthly fees.
