After our meal the owner shared a glass of $300/bottle single malt with us freely. Cool old pictures on the wall in a semi-historical colonial building. Something for everyone here!
W	W S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't like to leave negative reviews, but we ate here and the staff don't seem to know what they're doing and the food/menu is misleading. They didn't check our temperature. The fish and chips looked huge in the photo and was a tiny portion. The smoked salmon seem more like the tinned salmon you get. To top it off the bathroom light didn't work and the water was turned off.
A	Art Sue on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dining at the cafe beside the river. The view is great but the food is disappointing for the taste & price. Beef burger is RM25 but they use the cheapest burger patty. My guess is Ramly brand. Very sad looking burger.
K	KK T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The receptionist, Mr Leong was friendly and bring two of us to see the different types of room and given us one set of breakfast (coffee and butter kaya toast) for free after we checked in. The coffee from year 1983 and butter kaya toast were great. The wifi was very poor (turn on and off). The room decoration and furnitures are quite antique, it’s good for those who like nostalgic feeling. The place was quite noisy as the guest rooms are close to busy street especially during night time (till 1-2am), and the kitchen tidy up after it called it a day. The antique beds have sound when one sit or turn around on the bed. Those prefer quiet place better not check in there. Overall still acceptable.

The sauce is totally too sweet and does not complement the chicken chop The lamb chop is absolutely hard and not able to consume By the way, the soup is unmistakable similar to the taste of the canned version I will definitely not recommend this restaurant
I	Ice Ice Kitchen “Ice Ice” on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 2 cup of coffees but we received one black and one brown in colour. One sweet and one not sweet. Asked the staff but was told that both are same and without sugar. Well, I believe my tongue is still functioning well. They don’t apologise and insisted. Come at your own risk =)
P	Pete Lewis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The managers who checked me in were helpful and friendly and the location was good. However do not book the room above the dining room. The cleaning and closing up of the dinning room after midnight is extremely loud. Breakfast is not available till 10am which is way to late and by the time staff turn up and prepare breakfast it's almost lunch time. What tourists are going to hang around till after 10am for coffee and toast for breakfast? The only food or drink I had was a kopi o and that cost 7MYR! Which is insanely expensive.
