★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One to the best Ayam Kampung joints in KL. Apart from the freshly fried ayam kampung, you can also find my favorites - fried catfish, fried tofu and tempe. Lots of fresh vegetable condiments are available to fulfill your palate. The red and green sambals are to die for! Highly recommended!

I've ordered a few times from this place. The food ordered are ikan keli and ayam kampung set meal. The set consists of big portion of rice, ikan keli or ayam Kampung, one piece of tempe, fried tofu, a packet of curry and sambal. The portion is good but I'm always disappointed by the inconsistency. A few times that I ordered, there's always something missing from the food. Be it tempe, fried tofu but I usually just brushed it off. But the last time ordered, all four of my orders are missing the curry. All of them. That's an important part of the food, if not it'll just be plain dry rice. I wish they'll pay more attention to the service quality. Such a shame cause the food is good. That'll be the last time I'm ordering from them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would just give 5 stars for the food! The food are very good and scrumptious! The curry and the Sambal is the main reason leads to the happiness while enjoying the food. But if your talking about the service? You need to get a very high patience’s and high exceptions with delay in the food order, mistakes in the order made and many more. The staffs and even the boss are not very friendly and lack of communication not to forget very unprofessional. I just hope that they may improve their service as the food itself are very good and if they can fixed it, they can grow big.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WENT LAST WEEK....THIS PLACE SHD BE CLOSED PERMENANTLY FOR HEALTH REASONS !!
The rice is in one big vacuum pot with one ladle used by all customers n dumped back into pot ..Need I say more ??
That day the wash basins were not working n the floor was overflowing with dirty water...business continued with no action to clean up place.
To top it all they scammed us on the charges
We ordered 4 sets of chicken n added two fishes.
Price ?.
2 sets with one fish.... $40
1 set without fish....$12
Tao fu n tempeh....$6 ( only one of us took it )
Outrageous $58 for poor quality food n place.@@
Feeling cheated we check the pricing upon return n found we had indeed been scammed !!
Most importantly this place DOES NOT OBSERVE SOP ...NO SOCIAL DISTANCING !!... Why is this place even allowed to be opened !!
If there was negative rating I wld give it minus 5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affordable and decent tasting rice sets. Ordered the set with ayam kampung and the sambal was adequately spicy. Could definitely improve on hygiene and COVID-19 SOP.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried this place out which is opposite Nasi Ayam Hailam and to my surprise the Malay Rice here is excellent. Tried the Ikan Keli 5 ? and it's really yummy. Goes very well with the green and orange chilli sauce. The sirap bandung here is also very nice. Recommended if you like spicy food and especially Malay cuisine. Will definitely go and try the Ayam Kampung here next time.
