β β β β β This quaint little unassuming restaurant tucked in an obscure corner of Menjalara, KL, deserves to be hunt down as they serve excellent food. The place has a very cozy and relaxing ambience too. Perfect place to hangout with friends on a lazy afternoon over good food and tea. The pasta are all very nice ie. Carbonara, Pesto and Smoked Duck. Taste perfectly without any overdose of olive oil. Not a carbonara enthusiast but I must say this carbonara has won me over. We ended our lunch with bread pudding and coffee. The bread pudding taste lovely but my only grouse is that it a little on the dry side and could be served hotter. The coffee is excellent too though it could be hotter again. Definitely will be back to taste the other items on the menu. Price is very reasonable too. However, parking could be a problem so try to avoid peak hours of lunch and dinner. Do not park illegally as clamping of cars is very common here.

β β β β β A little rare good cafe around the neighbourhood. Food was in good portion and delicious. Coffee was nice with combination of bitter and fruity taste. Their fried stuff didn't have bad quality oil taste. Overall very good ambience and experience. Love its price the most, generally lower than normal cafe.

β β β β β Cosy morning with great breakfast. I really like the way they serve tea, a full cup, unlike many serve a small cup which might need refill.
Breakfast was great, scrambled eggs was tasty (not to dry).
Pancake was fluffy with manuka honey toppings.

β β β β β The pound cakes here are moist and not overly sweet. Ate everything before I could snap pictures. Yumss... The mushroom carbonara, however left a slight bitter taste in my mouth after each bite. I could be wrong, but I think it's the oyster mushroom used.

β β β β β So happened we had a car park nearby and slipped into Hinz. I haven't returned for a few years since they opened. The Magnum Belgian Chocolate Roll cake is something I would return. The baker managed to coat the cake with a hard chocolate that cracks like the ice cream into the soft custardy roll inside. Well done.

β β β β β Pleasant neighbourhood cafe with decent cake and coffee - never tried the other food though I'm sure it's also good. Good value for money cake and latte were under 25 rm and parking was easy too. They have a few baby chairs as well so we came here with our young children and there was no issues other than my son's incessant need to be constantly moving!

β β β β β This is not my first time here, I wonder why we can't choose the seats further inside. I am not a sunny person, I do not like sitting by the window. And hello, she said the seats inside are not open yet. But I see people sitting inside though. ?
Let's be honest, their food is good, ambience is good too. But the only bad thing is their attitude, like a lot of other reviews, same problem since a year ago. So sad that they never improve their customer service. And do remember, waiter/waitress is the first person a customer would put their first impression of that place. A smile, a warm greeting or a friendly helpful attitude is extremely important.
