★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This by far exceeded my expectations! The staff were really nice and service was fast. The view from the window is awesome and a nice spot to share a cold beer. The vege fried rice was really good and so cheap! The highlight was the note left in the sauce with the wings ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cafe, great bistro. This could be the reason Mersing is alive and glorious. The vibes is really astonishing. The environment really suits with wasted youth. The designs looks nostalgic yet really lit.
The foods here are nice, typical but it had its own uniqueness. Taste of the provender are great. Bit oily thee. The libations are really really really freshened up my damn throat. I love it thee. I came here more than 6 times as I recalled cause I studied at Segamat.
The service is slow, but really friendly. Loved that! Price of foods and beverages are nice, affordable. It had been a great pleasure chilling here with bunch of my fellas here. Gonna come again soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered chicken ham aglio olio spaghetti and mushroom soup. Surprisingly, the foods is really good!!! Didn't manage to take the pizza photos. Pizza portion is only good enough for 1-2 persons. Place is not big, but it's a cosy cafe located on the first floor Mersing town area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden urban gem, History 1948 is perhaps Mersing’s only professional-looking bar, with a cozy ambience able to seat up to over 30 people comfortably.
With a decor that seems well-suited to a Kuala Lumpur setting, it also comes with a balcony that allows patrons an overlooking view of the somewhat busy town’s main street, as they sip on reasonably-priced beers.
Friendly staff, good food, clean and open till late, this is one drinking hole in Johor that’s not to be missed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here after our holiday due to the positive reviews. Enjoyed the food, but the portion is too small. We had pasta, pizza, wedges and chicken chop.
We decided to go to another place afterwards because we were too hungry. The food and the ambiance was nice though (as you can see in the pics). Not many staff were there, so we had to wait a long time for the food, especially chicken chop.
Hygiene and cleanliness of the bathroom can be improved.
