★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This coffee shop's name is now Ho Chiat Kieh, and it lives up to its name. The yam rice and sour vege pork soup sold here are simply delicious. Every time we come here we find a new tasty dish to try - be it the char koay teow, white Wantan mee, apom balik, chicken rice, cookies and buns etc. A mouth watering stop each time we go to Simpang Ampat. Ample parking space available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passed by this new restaurant and was looking for for food , stumble upon something which is nostalgic to my heart, economy noodle. Ah Pui Economy Noodle. The owner is formerly a Batu Pahat boy and he really understood the importance of a good plate of economy noodle.
The noodle is QQ and the soy sauce is not overpowering giving the noodle a strong savory taste?. Add the egg and sausage give the meal a wholesome package. Other than noodle, the stall is selling also porridge which is quite mild taste with good flavor , that is good for current hot temperature we are having.
Will definite visit the stall and owner again when visiting the northern side again.
