★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As malaccan, first time we try the ikan bakar sabak awor. Interestingly, the price much cheeaper than ikan bakar Melaka. However the taste is not as good as melaka ikan bakar. We tried stall no 9.
Sotong goreng tepung is crunchy but no taste. U should add on more of salt. 3/5.
Siakap bakar sambal, hmm how should we decsribe. Theres no smokey taste on this grilled fish. Plus the sambal tak sedap. U should pour the sambal nasi lemak on it. 2/5.
Siakap sweet sour but no sweet sour taste. Why u put lemon and cucumber hiris ya? The sauce is basically just tomato sauce and u pour it on the fried siakap. U should watch the recipe of sweet sour siakap on youtube or facebook. Dear chef, please improve your skill. 1/5.
As conclusion, Sabak Awor stall no 9 really dissappoint my hubby and I. The taste is worst. However price is cheaper. We rather go to Melaka although the price will hike up.
