★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Artes has Private lift to reach the unit, highly privacy protected. All unit has either beautiful pool view and hill view,or seaview,3bedroom tange from 1500 to 2000sqft,so it is big and spacious unit,it comes with 2carpark for 3bedroom apartment. Artes is only 9km from airport,and 10km from city centre-Komtar. In the middle of everything too,walking distance to western food, chinese and korean cuisine,and Khaleel Nasi Kandar. A few convenience store to including 7-11. The mist in the morning is very interesting,standing at the huge balcony enjoying the mist and wind bringing fresh air from mount bukit gambir really felt like little Genting here. Only those who really staying here can share the real feeling,telling the truth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am genuinely shocked this place has such high ratings on Google and Airbnb. I would give it a negative score if I could. In summary, not an ideal location for Airbnb homestay.
There are only 3 lifts in the building, each located in a different corner. (I don’t understand the logic of this, but I figured they tried to incorporate elements of futurism into the design of the building, which in my opinion is a little over the top). Out of the three lifts, only one can take us to our Airbnb unit and it is surprisingly small for such a new high-rise building, so bigger families would have to take turns to use the lift.
The building is very far from central Georgetown, so you would have to take Grab or drive there. There is also a nearby mosque broadcasting prayers everyday which some, if not used to it, may find a nuisance.
We had such a horrifying experience staying in one of the units in Block B that we will avoid renting from here at all costs in the future. The bathrooms are super dirty and there are small spiderwebs in random corners of the apartment. All in all, the building is not well kept and seems very run down considering it was only built recently.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a 3 bed apartment at Arte S for our family reunion during the CNY holidays recently. Along with our 5 grandchildren, we had a great time there. The apartment was very clean, airy and spacious and we had the unit that was facing the Gambir Hills.It was really cool in the morning from the breeze coming from the hills. We made use of the recreational facilities available eg the 3 levels pools much to the kids' pleasure. The private lift is simplygreat becos u simply arrived right at your door. And i hv to mention that the agent was very attentive to our needs. As for visiting places in Penang,since we came in our own transports, it was not much of a hassle really. We even managed to bring the little ones to Entopia n came back via Balik Pulau n thru the newly built elevated highway as a shortcut..all in all it was a very pleasant stay at Arte S n we'll came again there if time permits..thank you Arte S for the wonderful stay.
