awesoooomeee.....we book all four(4) chalets....surrounded by Paddy Fields...some of us manage to FISH some ...at night it is BEAUTIFULLY SERENADE by the insects...talking about BREEZE... it is WINDY all the time....it is an AWESOME XPERIANCE.....

I stayed at homestay JKKK called Rumah Zam.. totally not recommended... Located at the back of owner's house...surrounded by mangoes trees n had no beautiful view at all... The fan not functioned.. toilet also problem...slow water supply n no toiletries were provided in it only the empty bottles... have to go a bit far to experience the view of sawah padi... the price is consider expensive compared to the service given.. i'm personally frustrated and highly not recommend this place to others... U can get a lot of other homestays nearby sawah padi with affordable price...

Nice homestay. Clean and tidy. Can choose frm single to family room. If planning to make a bbq, just bring the foods coz the bbq set is ready for you.

This is super fun Village atmosphere places must visit, suitable for family relaxing from noisy urban.

Inefficient management We’ve been there for a total of 85 people and had given a name list of participants (rooming list) earlier and had made full payment for the booking because the operator said it would be full if we did not make full payment. The rooming list is based on 4 persons per room and everyone must get bed/extra mattress and the operator has agreed and confirmed that it can be managed. When we arrived at the destination, then they said they have 10 houses that can fit 8 – 12 persons (totally out of our plan). But it is still ok at this time since we still can rearrange the rooming list. Then when we get to the room, they have different sizes of room and it is the latest rearranged rooming list also could not be applied. There are houses that can fit 5 persons (with only 1 queen bed), there are houses that can fit 12 persons (with only 1 queen bed and 5 single bed), some 6 persons and the things become chaotic. Then we said to the operator that’s fine but please add more mattress for everyone and they said ok, so again we rearrange the rooming list. After the firefly watching activity (I will share this below) and dinner, around 11pm @ 12am, we went back to our houses and we found out that the mattress are all not ready yet. Then again we asking where the extra mattress is. Then out of sudden the operator shout at us saying that they charge us very cheap (which in real we pay a lot for this trip), they said that we insult villagers (which we didn’t say anything about it, just asking where the extra mattress is), they use F word in Malay language to us, and then they repel us to go back. Luckily we have a colleague to keep us calm, and talk to their side asking them what’s actually happening. Then only they said they don’t have enough mattress!!!! At the end of the day, some of our people have to sleep without mattress!!! If you don’t have enough mattress, if you could not accommodate us, why you accept our booking? Why don’t you share the business with other homestay operator??? Not only that, the mattress that they have is too dusty, some of our participants’ face becomes reddish. The house also not properly clean before guest checking in. We had a chance to talk with some other local people there and they said before this they operate the homestay together. But after a while, the business has been conquered by this operator. Then other operators back off and do the homestay on their own. I’m not sure how true is this, but let’s take note on this ok. Ok, that’s about room. Now let’s talk about firefly watching. The same operator brought us to unestablished firefly jetty where it is totally incomplete yet. It is still under construction, and we had to walk on the mud along the way to get to the jetty while their people drove their cars straight away to the jetty. Hahaha :D Why don’t they bring us to a more proper jetty? If we run the risk assessment at this area, there are higher chances of people to get injured or accidents may happened. Food Their foods are horrible. Their bubur kacang hijau is like a water, fried bihun is tasteless, nasi lemak is undercooked, seriously embarrassing the image of the villagers. No other words to describe on their foods.

The standard for sanitation in hotels or even homestays should be high! The cleanliness of this homestay truly disappointed me. My roommates and I had to sleep on the floor instead of the mattresses because the bedsheets and the blankets were covered in dust and lizard droppings. It feels like they did not change the sheets for years... We did not have heater in our chalet and our shower did not work as well, my roommates and I had to take icy cold “bucket baths” in the middle of the night because our activities ended so late. Not only that, the plates and cutleries provided were all wet and oily. I’ll give a ZERO for their hygiene and cleanliness. To be honest, the accommodation and overall experience wasn’t worth the amount paid. The only thing worth complementing throughout this whole trip is their chilli, I must say they make great chilli.

Nice place to stay, between land and sea. All the huzzle and puzzle in city, will be released. Tension stress will be released too.
