β β β β β Their call center can not support housing loan details, they need to arrange call back and sounds like not willing to do so. They do not have dedicated call center for credit card. Very inconvenient

β β β β β 1. Please allow customers to top up with cash (like other banks) when desire to open FD with banker's cheques.
2. Please expand the Fettes Park Penang HLB. So old, congested and only 1 ATM which is put outside the bank.
3. Please train yr frontdesk employees to b more friendly n efficient.

β β β β β Hong Leong Bank, is a bank that does not have any heart or ethics in business.
Their online banking is flawed. For 2 days I tried making transactions online and the OTP was apparently sent. I called their call centre, and they said OTP is received. Being a customer, how would you feel if the bank tells you that OTP is received on their system when it isn't? Totally unsafe and I felt very anxious that someone hacked the system and my money will be transferred out.
After that they give me a call and saying I changed my network that's why OTP I didn't receive. I changed my network 5 years ago, and other banks never had an issue because the telephone number was not changed. I also successfully made a transaction 7 days ago.
So this bank blames customers. No ethics. No responsibility.
Now, I'm asking them to pay me the interest lost, they are declining the request.
After putting up with all these mistakes, you can't even pay me interest? I'm the victim of your bank's mistake! Do you give me a chance if I don't pay my loans on time? You do.
So after 2 months of talking with the person named Jit, I have not got this solved.
When is the letter coming for me to report to Bank Negara for your flawed banking system and making me pay for your flawed online banking ?
So guys, be careful banking with HLB. They will rob you and don't own up to it.

β β β β β Think twice before joining promotion that not 100 percent provided by Hong Leong Bank. Because Hong Leong Bank did not have any access to get any information from their cooperates partners.
Although promotion event held by Hong Leong Bank, anything you would like to verify, all questions will be on their partners.
And Hong Leong Bank do nothing to help you.

β β β β β Hi, I do not know where to address my dissatisfaction on your service.
Basically, the Foreign Currency Deposit is a scam. I called the hotline but no one can give me an answer.
And as requested by the operator, I email to you, but still no one able to answer me after 2 weeks.
The information is blurry. This is your product, and no one knows about it. So here, I can only do my complain here until I found another way to escalate it to higher up.
What I hope from your side is, please contact me ASAP with someone who is very much experience in this product. Thank you.

β β β β β Very Disappointed with The Refinance Process Which has taken almost 2 years but still not Finished!
Please be advised that my loan has been applied for and approved since 2020, and the entire process was supposed to be completed last year, but balance has yet to be credited.
Your mortgage salesperson informed me* that the balance must be transferred only to a Hong Leong account, and since I do not have a Malaysian Hong Leong account, why can't I transfer to another bank account, such as Maybank?
And, even after I purchased a Hong Leong Basic Saving Account (RM 1) from Shopee last year, the app still did not properly function to allow me to open the saving account, and the app has yet to resolve the IT issue with scanning the IC!!!
Please escalate and expedite the entire process so that the balance is credited to me.
This is completely unacceptable, and it has taken far too long for the process!!
Please advise how many years normally HLB takes to complete the whole refinance!!
