The only restaurant that I know of that serves authentic hokkien food. Pictures (in no particular order)(Fried brinjal, tapioca noodles, claypot pork, fried mushrooms and potato noodles[peh ke]) are the must-tries and highlights of the restaurant. Be sure to make a booking if you plan to visit on the weekend as there is usually a crowd. Parking is available inside the building.

For authentic Hokkien dishes, look no further than this relatively hidden restaurant tucked on the first floor of Plaza Seri Setia in Sungai Way area. I'd been going there a few times and have never been disappointed before. They were featured in Axian TV show before and are still going strong today with the support of many loyal customers. My last time going there was with my university classmates and had a great time there. ◾fried tapioca flour noodles - known as "pak kor" in Cantonese, this hard-to-find dish has a lot of crispy lards, bean sprouts, egg, plus some meats... All in a vital dose of wok hei to give that satisfying meal. ◾fried glass noodle (tang hun) - taste-wise similar to the tapioca noodle but you'd get the same satisfaction with the noodle made using mung bean. ◾Hokkien braised pork (taw yew bak) with alkaline kuih - braised pork is easy to find but "Kan sui gou" (alkaline kuih)? My first time seeing this type of kuih either.. apparently they dip the kuih into the sauce and eat just like that. Kuih was tasteless without sauce but good thing is the sauce was very good. ◾deep fried spring roll - perfect snack while waiting for the dishes to arrive. ◾Deep fried fish with braised peanuts - this fish was cooked twice.. first deep fried before braised in the clear peanut broth that was clear and slightly spicy with fragrant from the peanuts. ◾deep fried eggplant - easily passed of as salt & pepper squid if not for the colour and shape. The eggplants were covered with lots of minced garlic and strewn with spring onions. Very tempura-like... Addictive stuff which I'll definitely order again. A real treat Bonus - steamed famous Muar otak-otak which our friend brought all the way from Bandar Maharani. The food quality was spectacular yet homey and unpretentious with a touch of traditional taste to it. The only downside is the parking (road side is almost impossible) is not easily available and the only solution is to park inside the building itself which I'd say dated and tired.

Food here is absolutely delicious and it is rarely to find a gem like this, serving Fujian and Fuzhou cuisine. Came here for a birthday celebration and the place is packed, so best to make reservation before coming. The course meal is delicious and their Fuzhou (or Fujian) specialty, the fried tapioca flour noodle is a new dish for me. Nicely fried and chewy. Definitely will be back again to try other unique specialty dishes like the fried tong fun, Fuzhou red wine chicken and fried potato flour noodle, Hokkien braised Pork with alkaline kuih and more. Seems like is famous and featured in newspaper/TV shows before. Place seems to be always packed (I was here on the weekend during dinner time)

Discovered this hidden chinese restaurant that serves great food. Had their signature fried tapioca flour noodle and it was yummy. Would come again in a group to taste the varieties of nice dishes. ?

Popular neighborhood restaurant with good variety of noodles and dishes. We especially like the hokkien dishes. May be crowded during dinner time.

Food is quite oily. Maybe it is authentic hokkien cuisine as they claim. The fish maw soup is good though.
