★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Happened to witness a top notch Customer Service Officer attending to an elderly man. The elderly man had problems in hearing and the officer by the name Chung Chong Jong was seen to go all his way out to help the senior citizen. Mr Chung took the man to the Bilik Rundingan upstairs to help him. These are the things that you rarely see. But these things really touched people's heart. Thank you for making the elderly man's day. Thank you for making my day too. Thought I mentioned it here so that it would encourage more Government Officers to do the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stamping - 5 STAR RATING FOR SIBU LHDN AND KHAIRUL
Called LHDN PJ numerous times to no avail until I had to walk in to the Office at Damansara Perdana personally and did not realize that stamping is done online since July 2021 so I did an e-filing. Called for assistance to no avail and guess what I called the SIBU LHDN for assistance and Khairul picked up his phone on the 1st ring ALL THE TIME. Submitted with his assistance

Parking is a bit of challenge but there’s parking in the building. Lighting in parking area could be improved.
Was done within free parking period.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made sure all documents required where prepared and then went to IRO and was smooth process, the reception was very friendly and guided me what to do and how to get a number.
Took number, waited about 10 to 20min and was assisted by a very customer centric person and he listed and guided me during the whole Tax Clearance Process.
A very good experience and its a great location and easy to reach.
My tip:
Make sure you have everything you need prepared , then the rest will follow automatically and if something is missing, ask what they and sometimes you can provide this direct by emailing them, sometimes it will take longer and you might need come back.
Remember be friendly and treat others the same way you like to be treated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lady who was supposed was help me with the filling of my form was busy with her phone, simply giving me brief instruction, expecting me to do by myself. When I continued to ask question she immediately showed me that impatient face. Anyway the security guard with a gun was helping me better than her.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go there to APPLY "BANTUAN PERIHATIN RAKYAT or BPR. It was locate at 3rd floor and fast. Maybe during early morning weekday and fill in form first. Less than 15min. Then I proceed to get my info update and that is when I get some unpleasant more than 30min waiting. The thing is my number 1020 was called by counter 6 but there is still customer there and I saw her number was 1022 on table which counter 6 attending. Oh dear.. Luckily counter 2 staff (a Chinese guy) who saw this happen and he call me and assist me with care and understanding. That's only my ordeal and the rest was OK. This is my 2nd times there ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Internet was so bad here this morning, I had to switch from filling using the available computers to using my own phone.
But customer service was excellent, the staff were veey helpful to fill in forms.
Keep up the good work and please improve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my second visit to LHDN Petaling branch this year. My first visit, I had submitted wrong info in my efiling. So when I was given this one female officer seated on the very left counter (if you’re facing the counters) to attend to me, there was NO SMILE NO SINCERE GREETING even when I came and greeted her with Salam since she’s a Muslim too. Told her my situation, she handled it very UNFRIENDLY-ly. Talked and guided me in a very annoyed manner. So I didn’t dare to ask too many questions that I needed to ask. She gave me one instructions which was quite ma-fan to do but since I’ve no other experience on how to deal with such situation so I just had to adhere. So I left and told her I’ll come back again before end of the month for the correction appeal.
With a heavy heart I left LHDN. Thinking Omg there’s a lot to do for this issue I’m having. Write an official letter stating the wrong declaration and correct it together with all supporting documents. I had to do it for 2 different year so it was really troublesome to do, but had to do it. So the night before I finally had a chance to do it all and managed to get it all done nicely by 2am.
So that morning I came back again to LHDN Petaling. HOPING I’d get a better Officer this time. Alhamdulillah Allah answered my prayer. He gave me this young lady, NURUL SYAHIDA.

She helped me through every step and worked with me till I get EVERYTHING sorted out from A to Z. She even helped do calculations for me and taught me how to understand Income Tax relief and the whole works. With NO sigh, NO whine NO sour face the whole time. Clearly she was really sincere in helping me. I was so grateful and thankful to her that I managed to sort out my issues. Went home with such HUGE relief that it’s all settled within an hour.
Turned out all the official letters and supporting docs I prepared till 2am was useless and she showed me a better way to do it. I truly APPLAUD such sincere helpful LHDN FEMALE Officer like NURUL SYAHIDA.
If you ever have any issues regarding your income tax at LHDN Petaling, look for her. You won’t regret it.
