★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Back in June 2021, my Malay colleague spoke with Vince at 'International Watch and Clock' about an urgent repair of my Grandfather Clock recently shipped from England. This Grandfather Clock has very special sentimental value to me as it was originally assembled from an American kit by my late father.
Due to the fact there was still an MCO in operation because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vince said that his father (Mr. Pang) could not visit my house at that time, but once the MCO was ended a home repair visit for the clock was going to be possible. Over the coming months several more telephone calls were made to 'International Watch and Clock' to check on when a home service visit would be possible, and each time I was told to wait patiently until the MCO ended.
Finally, the state of Johor entered Phase 4 of the National Recovery Plan, my Malay colleague again called 'International Watch and Clock' to arrange the long promised home service visit for my still broken Grandfather Clock. It was at this point he was told (without the promised home service visit) that the Grandfather Clock could not be repaired by 'International Watch and Clock'. So after 6 months of waiting patiently, this is the poor professional service I was given by 'International Watch and Clock'.
Do not trust any service promises made by Vince and Mr. Pang at 'International Watch and Clock' in Johor Bahru.
