★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprise to come across this Ipoh-based famous bean sprout chicken KT soup in Bkt. Mertajam. Indian waitress speaks Mandarin & Hokkien. Tinier bean sprout not as crunchy; salty pork meatballs are more than bite size; oily chicken and thick soup as usual. Get all these w/o travelling to Ipoh!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant served 3 different types of chicken dishes. You can choose the normal, Kampung or 'bearded' chicken for the soya sauced or ginger dish. The bean sprouts (taugeh) dish is good too. You can order other side dishes with rice or kuay teaw ( flat noodles). Preferred the soft and smooth kuay teaw in favourable soup. The mushroom chicken feet dish is quite well cooked. Service is friendly and fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken is delicious, but you will need to order the tauge separately. They are good combination with kuetiao; I personally like my kuetiao dry so the chicken and its source will not be diluted by the soup.
The place is clean and nice; table and chair are spaced properly for comfort. The place have air conditioning too, so it is definitely good for family with young kids.
Price is slightly expensive, but it offer good food... so I guess it is still worth it, compare the need to drive to Ipoh from BM.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food, friendly staffs. Definitely a two thumbs up place to go! The chicken are so tender and juicy, together with the all delicious tauge (bean sprout), it's a place that you will keep visiting again and again.
