★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and i were taken on an especially adventurous, exciting and informative 8-hour full day tour of Ipoh yesterday by Ipoh Secrets.
There were 4 'clients' in the group, ie the 2 of us plus another couple from Singapore. So it was only a small and intimate group. Yet, to ensure that none of us would be neglected, we were guided by 2 guides, Simon, being our main one and John.
That arrangement also worked well in that, for example, when lunch was imminent, John would proceed on ahead to the very crowded, & popular designated coffeeshop to secure a table for us when we arrived.
Both Simon and John were extremely professional and informative, accomodating to our small changes in plans wherever possible.
Rates were also extremely affordable and we would recommend Ipoh Secrets to anyone wishing to see & learn, affordably, all about Ipoh in the shortest possible time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last Week, I had a Total experience of Private tour with John Lee who I found that he's one of the Passionate and Great sence of Humor kind of tour guide. Throughout the whole trip, I had fun and I really do enjoyed the whole trip. There’s only 1 part I felt sleepy. It’s because I had too much Fun. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got in touch with them and spoke with Nick to arrange for a private half-day tour. On the day I arrived, we were picked up by Mr. Cho who was friendly, courteous and all around interesting person to have as a guide.
As we have been to Ipoh not too long ago, we asked Mr. Cho to bring us to more local places - places where he would frequent and that he thinks are good. He did not disappoint.
From the start - arrangement of the tour through the phone - to the end when Mr. Cho dropped us off, everything was "breezy" and agreed upon on a "gentlemen's handshake". They carried through on their promise and we had an enjoyable time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a fantastic time with our guide Simon who was not only exceptionally knowledgeable but easy going and super friendly. Took us to everywhere, from sites to local hawkers for a really lovely day. Felt less like a guided tour and more that your old friend form college picked you up and was showing you his hometown. We live in Malaysia so not all new to us but stil found it excellent and insightful.
