Once upon a time, Papan is among the earliest small town that develop very well in Perak.
The existence of Papan Istana (Papan Royal Palace) proves it's social status to Perak state.
After so many years, the gloriousness of the town had all gone. Due to the looks of the ancients Malayan Architecture, Papan Town are now famous as "ghost town", where many local's movie (yes ghxxx movie) were shot here.
Me and my friend @siongkit were so scare so we simply take 3 pictures and left HAHA

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in a semi deserted old town Papan, Perak. It is a manor house of Raja Billah, a Mandailing nobleman who was once the community leader of Papan. The area has been restricted for visitors. The manor still has its owners - the descendants of Raja Billah who stay near and far. When visiting, respect for the place is required as it is not a deserted old complex.
