★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay not so okay, quite crowded especially on school holidays, own by a private or individual person, variety of services provided such as floaters campsite and lodges, just the waterfall/river was a bit murky, open and sunny on afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hope there are no more charges for car parking for visitors staying in the chalet. Need to add more facilities such as chalets and the area should always be clean from garbage and dirt. The edge of the waterfall area should be clean of garbage. Other than that I think everything is ok and very nice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Istana Sangkut is a private area. Being there on school holidays. Entrance fees for RM5 cars, pedestrians and motorcyclists are also charged differently. Many visitors come for a picnic and bathe in the river, they will gradually return by 1800H.
Be careful when bathing in the river reservoir, especially those who are not good at swimming, do not rely solely on the buoy alone. While I was there there was a father in his 30s with 2 children who wore a life jacket almost drowned because the buoy was upside down. Fortunately, there were other visitors who had time to swim and hand out buoys, the victim drowned 3 times, if not with his child, he would have been killed in his reach. The river water is a little murky.
There are separate toilets and bathrooms for visitors. No Hot water. Using river water. If you wish to spend the night, it is recommended to bring clean water.
Quiet and calm night atmosphere with the sound of the peaceful roar of river water.
