This has to be the best genuine Indian paratha place in south east asia. Being a food blogger and explore myself can vouch with some authority. The real authentic Punjabi style paratha with thick fillings. And that dollop of butter. We visited this place for three consecutive days! Aloo paratha, Paneer Paratha are excellent and Gobi paratha with the crunchy bites of cauliflower pieces even better. Sarson da saag is another must try dish here. The kalakund, cham cham and few other sweets also good. Service is fast and staff are very humble and gentle people. For a Johor Bahru food trail this place is a must to visit and it’s barely 750m away from the immigration CIQ checkpoint. The Budget? Well barely 30MYR = 10SGD = 8USD for four parathas, couple of sweets and two plates of sarson da saag.. enough to feed 3-4 pax!! If you love to travel on a budget and seek value for money then my book on Amazon & Kindle should help you. Do search for ‘Scissors Paper Stones - A Family Budget travel guide’ in Amazon or kindle or Goodreads, to buy. Travel more to save more!

Utterly disappointing service and incompetence of handling orders. Waiting time for the food was too long and hygiene of the premises was poor. Food was okay but off-putting attitude of the employees made it an unpleasant experience. Presence of the owner is required to ensure a complacent service.

The food was so good I forgot to take a photo! We had the daal makhani and the kadai paneer, which I can highly recommend. Mango lassi, chai, pudeena paratha and garlic naan were delicious too. Great food memories

Service was slow, staff was not happy to serve at all. Queued to buy some sweets but staff served other customer who directly approach the front without queuing. The jalebi sweet was decent though, pistachio barfi isn’t to my liking.

A great place to eat or take away The North Indian food and even the street food from India. I love the place as the flatvreads are made fresh and can be enjoyed piping hot with the tasty gravies. They have a huge list of options to enjoy the flatbread with. Our favourite are definitely the plain and also parathas. For kids we go for parathas and they eat with Dal. They serve great lassi too. Dahi papdi chat, Pani Puri , samosa are some of our fav chats.. it's an outdoor very very simple dining arrangement. Food is yummy and reasonably priced.

Good food, I wish I could say the same about all of their servers. Super slow service, seemed like the people weren’t too happy to see us there. One of the servers was really nice who ensured the service was on point; rest not much.

The best restaurants in the town. The quality can beat any 5 star food. Really loved their paratas, sabji, sweets, masala tea, etc. We were in JB for 3 days and went 5 times to this restaurant. Can’t ask for more than this food ! High five and highly recommended ?❤️
