The company was carrying JAKEL TRADING as a trademark in the textile industry to win over their customers. Mohamed Jakel later had expanded the business to Segamat, where the empire labeled as a dominant player in the industry.
In 1992, JAKEL TRADING further expanded its operations by venturing as a textile semi-wholesaler and supplier for the government agencies and private sectors. JAKEL TRADING continued to be a highly developed and respected textile company between 1992 and 1997.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can find ready-made baju melayu, baju kurung, kurta, curtains, prayer mat, carpets, textiles etc. There are a lot of design and colors to choose from.
Price range is high but since the quality of the product here is decent, I would say it's fair.
Customer service is impressive. They will help you as much as possible.
The racks and shelves are placed too close to each other, making the place feels packed and uncomfortable, especially during the festive season.
Altogether, the store is great to shop for Hari Raya especially if you have a big family as you can find everything in one place. I advice try to visit during unbusy hours, it can get really cramped up sometimes.

As I'm an introvert person?, the staff is very helpful.. for my cousin's wedding, they help from a-z....
the quality of the fabric is good and affordable...
I have no regrets coming here .... ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Jakel Batu Pahat today. Staff were very friendly. One staff by the name of Nabihah went out of her way to show us materials of different sorts. She has very good sales skills. Kudos to the management for the good training given to staff.
