โ โ โ โ โ Worst customer service. Went 3 times to that shop and always lacking with customer service.
Today I asked one of the service boy about the location of Salt placed in shop. He rude and said why you searching there, go and check at right place. Is this the way treating customer? They should take me to right place instead of angry with me..

โ โ โ โ โ This shop sells almost all the spices with reasonable price. But the shop is not clean, not organized. Besides that, the most annoying thing is the staffs, especially one elderly man who's in charge of weighing spices. He has no manners at all and lazy. Whenever we ask anything, he's not willing to reply, and he tends to throw the items to customers. Also the cashiers, lazy, slow and they like to chit chat while serving the customers. Better to train the staffs before letting them attend customers.

โ โ โ โ โ There are many similar Indian shops, marketing Indian spices, herbs etc at Little India. I do patronize this Jayam shop frequently as it's easier to find parking bays easily ie parking bay opposite and one car park building some 30 m on its right. If not, buy on Sundays...
It's cheaper to buy herbs and spice at Little India (Jayam too) and they are more fresh!

โ โ โ โ โ I love this spice market in little india in Georgetown. They have all spices you can think about and even more. And if you enter the shop there a great delicious smell in the air.
I love the cinnamon powder there and the balck and white peppercorns.
Also the stuff is very friendly and helpful. Most of the stuff is original from india and knows everything about the spices, who where sold there.
I highly recommend this shop.
