★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a bicycle stand for my 2 bikes and made payment without wanting to open the box as it looked new. However on 2nd thought, requested to open the box to inspect.. and to my surprise, parts of the bicycle stand look slightly used with chaffing and some grease. Lady staff called someone on phone to see if they have another set since that piece was the last in the store. While waiting for resolution from the staff, I did a cross check against the display set and found clamp and screws missing from my set. I informed staff who then removed the parts from display set for me to make up for my missing parts. The staff said the box was not open before so likely is supplier's fault. As I urgently need the stand (it's relatively cheaper than other store I visited) and do not want to make a second trip, I accepted the parts and did not request for refund.
Other than above, staffs are friendly, that lady staff also provided me with advice to protect of my bicycle against the stand and even gave me a used rubber tube (this is before all issues surfaced). However she can manage the issues better by suggesting refund, further discount or free gift to make me a more satisfied customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A world renowned Brand' "concept" shop which pushed my patience to the edge. 1st visit, already knowing it is under staff or I rather say plenty of warm bodies but only with 1 servicing staff. Ms Chew. Courteous and lively character. Spotted 2 models and still indecisive. 2nd visit 3 days later with the intention to get the bike. Walked in with only again 1 serving staff with a couple that is buying an electric bike. Standing and waited to be served but to no avail. Told Ms Chew I will be back in a minute (because it is quite akward to be standing there without being served) and waited in my car. Step into the shop again and again still I was turned a blind eyes. Stop calling yourself a concept shop with sub standard service. 3rd time stepping in to the shop and left my number for the owner to return call only realised the owner is actually there. With my calm approach and voiced my frustration (knowing there is other customers in the shop), still the owner is not responding and only given the excuse, we are busy.
Nutshell, bye bye Giant concept store JB. And if I were to be asked for recommendation of bike shop in JB. Sorry. You will not in the list.

Two specific things that I liked were that I did not feel pressured to purchase the more expensive good and that each option was explained well. I like to ride but have many holes in my knowledge of maintaining bikes. Ms. Chew explained things clearly in a helpful way, and did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge.
I also had my bike service for a tune up, etc. This is my back-up bike and I thought they might try to point out tons of things which could be upgraded. Instead, they did a very nice tune-up to match my needs. My bike was returned faster than other area bike repair places and without any surprise charges.It rides much better than when I dropped it off.
