I was here twice. Once in 2017 and again in 2019. This place is about 10km from Bagan Datok town. Used waze or google maps. You will not miss this place. Ample sign board and there is a big gateway to welcome visitor. If you are from bagan datok town, you need to turn right. As you turn right, there are kampung houses and coconut plantation. The road is paved, but, the condition not very good. I believe due to lorries coming in and out. But, after you passed by some sort of lorry parking area, the road is much better. You need to pass by palm oil plantation before reaching this place. When i was here back 2017, it is not too long after the sultan of perak installation as king, hence, this place is still ok. Fast forward 2 years later, it is not kept well. Signed of rundown are eminent. There is public toilet. No water. I came in dry season so the mangrove forest is not at its best time. The water is not clear, but, remain beautiful and serene. A lot of mudskipper, you can see them jumping out of the water. If you want to see the beting pasir or sandbar that the sultan has to dip his feet during the installaltion ceremony, do come in the morning. The tide is low and you can see the sandbar jutting out from the sea. I think you can also walk all the way to the end of the sandbar. This place is beautiful, albeit is not kept well. Love the tranquility.
