★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kampung air batang is more of a peaceful area compare to the other villages. Over here only non alcoholic beverages served, less the entertainment, no loud music, just chill. The most entertainment you get perhaps near the pizza stall next to mobi-tek dive center.
The stretch mostly rocks and broken corals with a little bit of sandy patches. It clearly seen during the lowtide. Though that doesn't mean it is no fun at all. I rented a bicycle to move around from air batang to tekek back an forth. During the low tide you can even go to the north part of the village which is the lodge name ABC chalet ,swim near to the edge of the rocks and you can arrive to panuba inn. Just take note your stamina endurance, because if you swim against the current, you will get tired and the probability of drowning is possible. I don't see any kayaks around so perhaps a portable Stand Up Paddle board would be good.
I found a black tip shark lurking nearby when i snorkeled in front of the ABC chalet but you have to swim to the deeper part of the water to see it. Best time to see big fish activities is snorkel before 9am and after 6pm or so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ferry drops you off here if coming from the mainland. The water is beautiful and clear. Always tons of fish around. Pretty view of the island from here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained jetty with ferries on time. Plenty of fishes and corals around. Come here at high tights to see the most.
