It is a fishing harbor which consists of boats which are used for fishing around the Merlimau river area as well as the coastal and sea area in Malacca. At here also can see the mangroves tree grown over the river area.

Located in West Merlimau, District of Jasin, Malacca, Malaysia.
It's a place where fishermen 'park' their boats which are used for fishing around the Merlimau River and Coastal Sea of Malacca Strait.
This place is popular among locals and outsider people. There's many things to see if you're lucky, you can see the fishing boats arriving from the sea at the pier with their catching of the day. You can buy freshers seafood and seashells that captured by local fishermen at the stalls there like fresh fish mostly of the coastal type, crabs, prawns, squid, cockles, mussels and other marine products.
You also can see the flora and fauna at the mangrove swamp forest most over the river and seaside area. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Freshest fish !!! Sold by the fisherman himself. It was cheap , too. If you want to buy fresh fish come here at 1 pm till 3 pm. Wait for the fishermen to come back from the sea with their catch.
Yesterday my family & i were very lucky because the moment we arrived at the jetty , a fisherman happened to arrived there , too , in his boat with his fish. So we bought some fish right away.
Today , we cook the catfish (ikan duri). Ikan duri masak asam pedas. Wow!!! The flesh is soft and very delicious.
