I’m always a fan of curry noodle. Today drove 1hr just to try out this Curry Noodle. The curry is thick, not watery, very tasteful. They even added the Laksa flower (Torch Ginger) and mint making the curry taste up to another level that I have not tried before. Amazed me indeed. As for the drink, go for their Hor Ka Sai if you love some cocoa coffee taste. It’s a mixture of Milo and Kopi, the taste is superb and their one is very thick. So it’s very nice. It would be great if they can cut down the amount of ice next time. Overall it’s a good food for curry lover. Worth the try. The price is reasonable too for this area.

Nice curry noodle. Highly recommended. Long Q during weekend but the crowd still ok during weekday. The price pay for it is value for money. Parking is difficult. Definitely go back again for curry noodle but not Asam Laksa.

What's underneath the prawn fritter and the greens? Well, you get tofu, prawns, beansprouts, potatoes, and surprise, surprise: dried cuttlefish! A bonus you get when you order mee jawa from a restaurant that serves curry noodle as their main dish I'm particularly happy with the tomato broth which is done right. The consistency is light (not a lot can get the consistency right, especially

Can try the curry mee and steamed otak-otak, others is average / below average. Items from good to bad - All In Curry mee: Their curry is good, ingredients are definitely worth the price, and it has a slightly different fragrance from your ordinary KL curry. However the included prawns are bad/not fresh, which were mentioned by other reviewers as well. Otak-otak: Has a really nice fragrance, comes with a small chunk of fish meat. Tastes better than most of the otak2 bakar out there. I personally don't like the texture of steamed otak2, but if you do, please give it a try. Fish Ball Dry Noodle: The taste of fried garlic oil in the soup instantly reminds me of penang style kuey teow thng, but nostalgia aside, it's just a very plain bowl of noodles. Kaya Planta Toast: Toast is toast, okay lah, liddat lor Drinks: Kopi and Cham is so-so, but kurang manis is really kurang manis, so props to them for that. Lobak: Slightly unsatisfying, taste is average, but I find the meat too finely minced. And since they don't put any water chestnut / sengkuang in it, every bite feels like its missing something. Add bigger chunks of meat / something crunchy maybe? Asam Laksa: Disappointing, broth is very light, can't really taste the shrimp paste as well. Might be because they use sardines instead of ikan kembung. (FYI I don't really like asam laksa and even I find it too light) Wanted to try their Jawa Mee but already sold out (Saturday ~11.45am). To be honest, if I had only tried the curry mee and otak otak, might have given 4 stars, other food is just not up to par. Haven't tried the Ampang HQ as weekend lunch parking there is a nightmare, so no comparisons.

For those who are craving Penang style curry mee or Assam laksa, this place is as close as one can get to Penang. The curry was awesome, flavorful and tasty to the last drop. The lobak was not too bad too. I really enjoyed my meal here. Place is clean and service quick.

Let's eat curry noodles in Kepong. I'm really not sure when this restaurant start operate, it's actually very close to my house ?. This restaurant serves a variety of curry noodles. I ordered the KL version while my sister ordered the Penang version. All version comes with SIHaM, shiokl! The curry base is the same, but the ingredients are different. The KL version has curry chicken. Penang has prawns and pig blood cube. The curry was a bit spicy, and my stomach was burning hot after eating. Recommended ?

Had the Penang style curry mee (broth taste so so myr 8) and kl style curry mee (broth thicker myr 8rm), the lobak (not bad myr 3.5) and the special drink (like mocca Milo+kopi+ice myr 4.5). Overall price is reasonable. The specialty of this shop is they have all sorts of ingredients add on for Kari noodles such as pig skin, pig blood etc. Only thing is I'll prefer thicker soup base.

New open with local favorites foods like Asam Laksa, Curry Mee, Dry Mee and so on. Curry Mee also separate to 3 types KL, North, KL+North types. Different is only the added on dishes. Here can found HOR KAR SAI at currently famous in Taiping. But I have try it, the taste is not good as Taiping 虎咬狮. Overall the shop is not too big, so the table is full.
