Easily overlooked when walking past. Coffee is good. Chill vibes but limoted seating. Will be back.

Not your mainstream commercialise cafe. Can’t take off my eyes on those artistic master piece. Suitable for small talks. Best if they do provide wine.

Nice warehouse setup... Coffee need more improvement, no as good as main shop at Kelawai, too dilute. Food is pre-pack, need to heat up properly. Good place to hang out if you like casual setup...

Amazingly decorated cafe that is full of unique and practical handiwork. Certainly not the mainstream kind of decoration that you expect in the usual, Penang cafes. There are all sorts of seating with great lo-fi playlist accompanying your conversations. Haven't tried much of their selection of coffee, tea and soda, but the oat milk option is a big plus. Staffs are very helpful, especially in directing their unique, DIY fan to my direction as it was a super warm day. Been to the neighbouring Boston and will certainly choose Kafka over it on any day.

Really amazing space, soulful, just to walk through and see the relics is like walking back in time, very nicely designed and the dirty chai is amazing as are the wraps and cempedak cheesecake. It’s quite rustic and authentic with its furniture and vibe, a place with its unique sense of style

A difficult place to rate as it's so unique. But I enjoyed it and would return. Rm10 for ok cappuccino, not the best around, but not bad either. Only serve wraps for food. I paid rm21 for a smallish chicken avocado cheese grilled wrap which was very nice but just a snack really. The highlight is the shop itself which is outstanding, crazy. Eclectic, hard to describe. Think of an airconditioned antique store, combined with a 100 year old mechanical work shop, combined with an industrial equipment store room, with scattered tables and chairs, and background jazz. This place is why I love penang.

Quirky eclectic cafe in an old garage off a back alley in George Town (Victoria Street to be precise). Limited menu but decent food; drinks are standard bottled ones. A bit of an enclosed space and not much seating, with all sorts of metallic gewgaws and trinkets. Cool joint by Kafka, but don't bring a big group please.

Hidden gem, interesting place, good coffee. 08/01/22: came back here again and love it as much as the first time. Come and check it out yourself, take a break, escape from the hot sun and hide away from your troubles.. for a while.
