★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With Kampar CB Biscuit shop closed, we went to this shop, keeping our fingers cross that they do sell the authentic stuff. Well, of course, they don't have the CB brand since they have not been in operation for a while. Kampar Old Town has its own brand and sells the Bidor Pun Chun brand too.
We bought both the Pun Chun brand and the Kampar Old Town brand. The verdict is that the Kampar Old Town is a lighter tasting and bigger biscuit, while Pun Chun is a much smaller biscuit in size but pack with intensity of taste and flavour. We like both.
If one is looking for the old flavour that brings back memories, then go for the Pun Chun brand. If eating as a snack, the Kampar Old Town is good enough. Pun Chun cost RM6/packet while Kampar Old Town cost RM4.50/packet.
The sales lady operating the shop alone is a very friendly lady and does give her personal opinion on the products she sells.
