โ โ โ โ โ Delicious foods and good service, foods come out abit slow but overall ok. Good thing was they will inform the price and weight of seafoods first before they cook. However, we found out 2 crabs served only even we ordered 3 crabs ? luckily we found out earlier and got deducted from the bill we paid

โ โ โ โ โ The food was very tasty, delicious and it was cooked really good. The prawns were huge and juicy. The staffs were really nice and accommodating. Khairul, quite a story, came from KL to setup his own bar in Langkawi but due to MCO, the investors pulled out, hopefully he can get new funding to materialise his dream. Daniel, remarkable young guy. Very helpful in suggesting what to do for new year. Definitely will come to this place again very soon.

โ โ โ โ โ Had the opportunity to eat at Kapal Layer Langkawi during my recent trip. It was a great place to have an enjoyable seafood dinner.
Price: Cost a little more than your usual roadside fare but you get quality seafood at a reasonable price.
Location: A little off the usual location. Needs transportation to get there but it's definitely worth the effort to get there. Chill place by the seaside with wonderful Instagrammable places to take pics.
Food: We had everything on the recommended list.
Butter Lobster was wonderful. If you love creamy buttery sauce, this dish would be perfect for you. We had a 2+kg lobster, ample for our party of 6.
White Pepper Crab: The white pepper sauce was lovely though the local crab is not comparable to your Sri Lankan crab so need to adjust your expectations there.
Deep Fried Sea Bass: Can't go wrong with a well fried sea bass with nice soy sauce. So crispy even the bones were yummy!
Kam Heong La La: Stir fried Kam Heong was really tasty. If more la la opened, this dish would have been the highlight for the dinner.
Salted Egg Sotong: Again, can't go wrong with salted egg sauce right? Plus deep fried cuttlefish...crunchy, salty goodness...Goodness me!!
Some regular stuff I wouldn't elaborate...including the heart shaped rice...
Overall: The food is definitely good enough for you to make the trip there. The reasonable price and dining experience give you the added plus to try this place. Point to note (1): Make reservation Point to note (2): Don't arrive staving...food doesn't come instantaneously. But it's worth the wait
Must try: the swing at the edge of the jetty!! Haha more than any dish on the menu!!

โ โ โ โ โ Enjoyed my dinner here. the environment was great. The food were delicious. A bit pricey but worth it. The salted egg squid was really good, Fresh Mud crab (unfortunately they only had the smaller sized ones) cooked salt and pepper was good also. Kangkung was fresh, crunchy. Kam Heong lala was tasty.
Would definitely come back again.

โ โ โ โ โ Please booked an advance before coming to this restaurant. So far from my point of view, this restaurant is just a decent and normal restaurant not as special as its sounds and I can tell below my expectations. The foods are a bit pricey, and the food served are quite slow but the staff are very accommodating. May be the location wise become special because it location just next to the beach, with the food spot for picture, but the interior and the food are just normal.

โ โ โ โ โ Great food great environment , decent pricing. Was within proximity to the hotel we stayed as well. Only downside for us that day the fish was overcooked. Else everything else was excellent. Do get the octopus and prawns, they were exceptional.

โ โ โ โ โ Seafood is reasonably priced, and the service is great. Recommend the Salted Egg Fried Squid and Lala, these are delicious. The restaurant has a great environment, right by the sea. The time of waiting for the food is okay, not too long.

โ โ โ โ โ this place surprised me alot.. i thought i would just be mediocre food.. but its was superb! everything i order is delicious! and not expensive too. its by the sea and there is a rainbow bridge for diners to take photo! cool place. and the worker here is humorous! one of them served us rice in cute heart shape tell my husband dont break my heart ??
