★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A taste of memories -- Taiping Kai Si Hor Fun Heaven....! Kai si hor fun stands for shredded chicken rice noodles, a well-loved hawker dish in Taiping, my hometown. With so many good stalls around and are all equally good. I prefer my favourite old places, to get the same old stuff. Food has long been a reflection of who we are, and heading to those few cherished hometown eating spots is akin to making a pilgrimage that's both obligatory and magical.
