★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The price here is reasonable and the place is just near Swiss in hotel and hotmas(western food restaurant). There's a lot of lauk pauk here and they are delicious. Ikan bakar, chicken soup or beef soup and even duck curry can be found here. There's also ulam. The drinks here is also delicious. The owner and staff are friendly, polite and considerate. I bought 5 kinds of lauk and 1 ulam at the price of RM14.
You can come here and enjoy.

Their roast chicken and fish tastes good.
Their beef cooked in broth is considerably good.
I personally like to visit due to the ample dining space, and the wide variety of food available here, and since I prefer eating healthier food (baked, roasted, steamed, grilled or boiled), I am spoiled for choice when visiting here.
There's a plethora of traditional salads here. I could stuff my belly full, but still maintain a caloric deficit if I eat lunch here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to eat countryside Kedah's cuisines. The most thing I like about this restaurant, they got variations of fresh vegetables, ulam and cooked one. The got several kinds of kerabu (salads). They got grilled fish. Their fried chicken looks amazing. Their sambals among the best I ever had at my place. The price is good. Affordable and not pricey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is cheap. You can have many types of lauk (dishes) for lunch. The choices are good. The taste is ok, typical. But you have to be aware of the system here. All are self served. You need to pay first and tell the cashier your drinks and later pick it up your self. The restaurant is spacious with ample parking lot. It will get busier during the lunch time. Overall experience is good. Location wise it is close to Swiss Inn Sungai Petani.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hidden gem of sg petani is a heaven for breakfast. The main signature dish is roti jala and pekna (a traditional malay pancake made with coconut).
They also serves nasi lemak, mee goreng, meehoon goreng and big variety of sides likes fried chicken, chicken sambal, beef curry, fried fish, egg tofu and lots more.
There are many variety of drinks serves here, such as iconic teh o ais and sirap ais.
Taste wise is quite good in traditional malay cooking. Price wise is acceptable and inexpensive.
If you happened to be in sg petani, you should check this place for your breakfast.
