We reached there around 230pm on a Thursday afternoon and some of the stuff such as kway teow kia and pig intestines were sold out. We took the last bowl of yellow noodles which was surprisingly nice. Generous portions of the braised duck and pork mixed. Price was reasonable too. Do come here early if you don’t wanna miss the kway teow!

Came here for lunch - the braised duck was very good, especially with rice. A must when stop by JB area. Highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious and traditional tastes of braised duck. There are other additional spare parts of pork on sale too. There is a choice of kway Teow Kia, noodles and rice. Prices are reasonable too. Another signature dish that you must try is the braised pork trotters. The restaurant is adorned with pictures of celebrities and VIPs visiting.

The traditional Teochew braised duck was tender and flavourful and went well with a bowl of noodle or kway teow together with some spicy and sour chilli sauce. The soup was tasty and delicious. Other side dishes such as the braised duck tongues, wings, feet and gizzards 鸭胗 were tender and very well cooked too. We felt that the whole meal was slightly pricey at RM75, although the serving was quite big. After eating we also felt a bit thirsty.

Very good braised duck. The meat was served on top of cucumbers. The duck meat was very tender, thinly sliced and fresh. Have the sourplum drink too. The food is very good, polite service and the owner actually brought my meal to the table. Such personal service from the boss of this famous shop gave me such a good impression. Loved it.

We are repeat customers at this place famous for braised duck and pig trotter. Succulent meat and tasty with many other add-on items, such as bean curd skin, braised tofu, braised eggs, pig skin, etc. Dishes are served with rice or noodles depends on one’s preference. Order and pay at cashier, then food will be served at the seated table. Friendly, helpful and approachable owner and servers. We went for lunch yesterday. Ordered braised duck for 2 person, bean curd skin, braised pig skin, 2 braised eggs with 2 plain rice plus 2 glasses of cold barley. It cost us RM44 for 2 of us for what we ordered. The pig trotter is a must-try for a group bigger than 2 person unless you’re big eater as the portion is meant for 2 person at least. One of the best places for braised duck and pig trotter in JB by far in our opinion.
