β β β β β Good chicken rice , the drink also not bad , the owner is very friendly and such a fun guy . The service is very quick and the place is easy to find , just 150m away from the LRT masjid jamek station . Most importantly is , the food is very cheap .

My breakfast cost RM9.40 included Ice Tea.

β β β β β Nostalgia place for wanton mee if u donβt mind eating in a high traffic area with the sound of buses motorcycles n train. extra minced meat in the noodle is quite special n char siew portion is super generous. will come again to try their chicken rice.

Has few tables only. Not that clean.
Just a couple of stalls serving noodle and chicken rice. Taste very average.
Not one i will ever return.

β β β β β A pretty small Chinese traditional coffee shop which is located beside the famous Hong Nyek Restaurant. The shop is just 5mins walking distance from LRT Masjid Jamek. We went on Sunday for a lunch and it was relatively quiet. Not many customers in the shop and also less vehicles on the road. What a distinct difference compared to pasar seni area. Besides, the owner is absolutely friendly and fun to chat with.
The kopi and teh ngalat tastes great with appropriate amount of condensed milk, hence not too sweet and do not overpower the kopi/teh aroma. Chicken rice with siew yok is okay. The top crust of siew yok is not crunchy enough, the belly part is a bit too stiff and the bottom section should be more flavorful. Wanton mee and curry mee are quite good. The char siew, minced pork and the wanton are amazing. However, we prefer the curry broth to be creamier and spicier. Lastly, they are very generous, fairly big portion for all.

β β β β β I have been there 2 years ago on our trip. We stayed in big M hotel near there. By chance, we stop by this cf shop. The chicken rice is good. In morning like Chinese style, people come to have breakfast and talk each other. I will visit again one day.
P/S: i forgot to take the name of your store, so i found it by google map from Big M hotel, luckily i located right. You store inspires me, thank you!

β β β β β A corner quaint coffee shop. Nothing great to shout about, good enough to fill the stomach while passing by but not worth to go way out hunting for this place.
Standard fare of wantan mee, curry mee and roast meat (pork and chicken) rice dishes. Drinks standard fare of local style coffee (kopi), teh, barley, Chinese tea.
Curry was tad watery, can see the stock up of packets santan Kara brand.
Place is managed by a local man, with help of 4 or 5 super friendly Indonesian ladies.
