★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Encountered this place by accident as the place that we wanted to go was closed. What a pleasant discovery. The restaurant interior is designed as if you go to someone’s house to have some food. Like a kenduri house. The dishes are the same everyday just the rice that changes according to what they make on the day.
We had nasi hujan panas with ayam goreng berempah, ayam kicap and daging masak hitam. The set comes with acar, dhal dan papadom. Super sedap rasa macam makan kenduri sangat. Our daughter loved it so much that she finished half of her portion and almost the whole lot of fried chicken. The lady in charge was super friendly and nice. Felt home instantly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not the type to review about places before foods review, but I LOVE THE AMBIENCE! With old Malay house style with a twist of contemporary deco. It's just a small restaurant but full of love. The owner was so nice, great foods, very clean environment I love it! Also please buy popia carbonara at the stall next to this restaurant, it tasted so good I want to cry!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place offers a variety of nasi kenduri daily in case you crave for one.. My fav is Nasi Hujan Panas top with Daging Hitam and Ayam Merah.. At night they serve A'la Carte menu and western dishes. Nice ambiance - they rebuilt the place using the original materials from a very old malay traditional kampung house. You should give it a try.. luv it!!
