Menu was colourful and indeed delicious all around. Service was fast and professional and you have to try the Kambing Goreng. It makes a simple menu to be eaten with hot rice and sup kosong. Maybe add a little omelette or bergedil if you fancy. Worth the second helping every time.

This is new cafe in Kota Damansara. I've been waiting for this type of cafe to open in this area. A proper cafe that serves Malay food, located in a shophouse for the comfort of the customers. Off course the price is higher than the stalls, but you pay for the good ambience and comfort. My personal favourite is Soto (really good!), My wife loves the Laksa Johor. I haven't tried the rice dishes but it looks really tempting. If only they open slightly earlier maybe can attract more breakfast crowd. Hope this cafe becomes successful!

Beautiful cafe, clean and comfortable for families and friends to gather. I thought the service was prompt, quick and friendly. Kuih Melayu was good. My mom and I had nasi lemak and lontong - it was good, but I think the flavours could be improved. My other feedback would be to improve the beverages. My mom is a teh tarik lover and was disappointed to find the teh tarik served was the β€œinstant” kind. I don’t think one should serve instant teh tarik in a cafe. People can make that at home. Anyways, Malaysians love teh tarik and the customers will have a better experience with fresh teh tarik on the menu. I was also served lukewarm lemon tea although I asked for hot lemon tea. I thought it was a bit lazy for the beverage preparer to not have checked that he/she was serving a hot lemon tea that was not hot at all. These kind of things, seem small, but it really influences the overall satisfaction and makes you want to return to the restaurant or not. I do hope the restaurant continue to improve in terms of flavours and beverages preparation, as there is a dire need for Malay restaurants that are clean and comfortable.

I had nasi lemak paru and my sister laksa johor. It was nice but you're basically paying for the shop environment rather than the food itself i would say.

Lontong, Mee Bandung, Laksa Johor, Nasi Lemak with sambal sotong, paru berlada, chicken & beef rendang are among my favorites at Kerisik Cafe. Their fried rice or noodle varieties are also to go for. Cozy environment, friendly staff. Last but not least, they have a wide choice of desserts from traditional kuih to modern dessert like their best seller basque burnt cheese cake. So if you're a dessert lover, Kerisik Cafe is worth a trip. Oh, they serve pretty good local coffee too!
