★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm happy to say that this restaurant is back to providing it's original taste and that is very good! The food is freshly made and prepared on the spot, taste is authentic and packs a real flavorful combination of aroma and fragrance. In particular, the otak otak was great with seafood and cooked with fresh basil leaves, such an excellent combination of spices together. Lastly the plum sauce steam fish had a very strong sour and slightly spicy taste, I almost took a spoon to keep drinking the gravy like it's a soup. Come here for a good and reasonable priced meal, remember to make a reservation before coming here.

It delicious, friendly and reasonable price!
We always having lunch or celebration here.
We like paku Vege , tomyam soup ( red and white) also nice , Century eggs, salted egg chicken, spicy and sour lala, and mai kam which is show in the picture!

Khun De’s premise is nothing much to shout about - a residential house converted into a restaurant. But the food is not bad.
We ordered Thai deep fried pork knuckle, glass noodle prawn, green curry chicken, Thai herb omelette (Cha Om), french bean stir fried with minced pork and white seafood tom-yam.
All the dishes were great and enjoyed by whole family. If there is a letdown, it is their honey lemongrass drink. Where is the lemongrass flavor? Where is the honey flavor? What we could actually taste was lemon flavor from a few lemon slices!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is delicious but prices are on the high side. Tomyam seafood packs a wallop but satisfies my craving for spicy food. Green curry is good. Air cond family restaurant is not big so it gets crowded easily. Service is average, limited parking in front ( 3 cars max) which is a drawback. Restaurant is a single storey terrace house fronting the busy Jalan Teh Ewe Lim. Big crowd coming in during covid times is unsettling especially in an air-conditioned environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moment of truth. Service good and waitress is courteous. Food is too salty and portion is too way too small and not impressive at all to be considered as authentic Thai food. Honestly its overated as we came here thru one of google's review. Kinda dissapointed coz even juices and dessert are blant. Too bad. Well probably its good for others but not for me i guess. As usual another man's food is another man's poison. However wont recommend for big group of friends or families as the portion is truly small....and most of all the dishes are not truly authentic Thai food. I highly recommend Wang Thai instead.?Anyway gotta be grateful for a meal.
