โ โ โ โ โ I will say the wantan is fabulous, well spiced while the soup is nicely porky without a hint of MSG.
As for the wantan mee itself, I'd call it an acquired taste because it is more like WANTAN LOR MEE. Yes, got lor: a starchy, gooey, translucent brown gravy that Hokkien Chinese in northern Malaysia seem to really dig. It doesn't exist down south. There is a variant of this lor in one or two wantanmee shops in Penang, but Cafe Kim Leng shop serves pure lor.
Next time I go, i will ask for wantan mee soup with extra wantan. No lor for me.
