Just few weeks after getting my new car, I had to start looking for sound proof solution for my car. I was lucky to have found KL AUTO. I surveyed few shops, but Desmond is the reason I sent my car here. His professionalism, experience, friendliness and patience convinced me.
To reduce the wind and external noise, he did the door treatment and window sealing. He also treated the wheel arches to reduce noise from the front tyres. The whole process took about 3 hours. Im satisfied that the noise level was significantly reduced after the treatment. And I can enjoy my drive now with less external noise.
Thumbs up to KL AUTO.

He also helped me with all my stupid requests and gave advices on them. Highly recommend!

It make me so confident to step on pedal keep speeding at straight and corner.??
12.45pm, out from your shop, using Selayang the hill climb road and rolling road, not much feel yet, maybe not use to it.
2.00pm get in highway start speeding, step on pedal like nothing feel fast or vibrate, yes the foam is doing it job.
3.30pm at Simpang Pulai start till Jelapang and hill climb heading to tunnel, i keep 120-130kmh, take in to corner over take from 1st to 3th lane (dangerous drive), it really stable and just a little feel body roll. That i remember what you said after 2-3 hours the things come true.
At the way to Taiping the hill road lot of yellow line, the car feel solid when crossing it also less bumpy. Turning sharp corner rear side no feel sway away, can feel AWD function.
5.00pm near Juru area, lot of uneven or floating road, i cruising in 110kmh, relax and feel it, the car like quite a bit and feel slow, yes! The chassis solid already make me like feel slow.
Waiting forward next day and another 2 more days see how it change.
At this moment really like the feel. Thanks for your good job make my Forester 'tighten' again.?
Day 2, clear the excess foam in the morning.
Start the car going out from my house front slope, body flex is reduce.
Car getting more rigid, thinking to reduce tyre pressure a bit before that will monitor few more days first.
Another advantage i realize, the chassis is rigid now make the engine power transfer like no loss to wheel.
I monitor on my FC meter and pedal % see the different and feel lighter compare normal i drive on the same road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uncle Desmond… Very highly knowledgeable regarding soundproofing… Before doing he personally will consult with you and explain thoroughly before doing to meet your needs. After doing, the car feels more solid than ever. Interior vibration has reduced greatly. Thumbs up ?! Uncle Desmond is the best in town even best in this field.. He has over 40 years of experience in this field, what else do you need. You can’t substitute experience with money! One thing I have learned from his consultation, you can’t eliminate the noise completely, you can reduce it. Gone completely is equivalent to a coffin !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Desmond at KL Auto initially to reduce car vibrations and noise in the cabin. He proposed to auto foam the car chassis and soundproof the floor panels. The auto foam would strengthen the chassis and reduce vibrations into the cabin and the soundproofing would reduce the more irritating noises. What I got was a very nice surprise: a much more stable car, it just feels tighter around corners, braking is more precise and it gives you confidence to drive faster. The auto foam does work wonders, and I would recommend you do that for your car as a step one before you do a more expensive suspension upgrade to improve your driving experience. The engine noise is more refined in the cabin. He also helped reduce some random cabin noises by reattaching and padding some plastics when I went back to him later.
Desmond is prescriptive with his solutions depending on your car and your situation. He is also very entertaining and a genuine car guy. Do pay him a visit to see how he can improve your ride!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been actually 10years since I last came to kl auto and at that time I met Desmond and got a number of things done for my car. Since then I've had a solid experience with no issues. But past 4months there has been an annoying sound from my driver's side door. Dare not take it elsewhere to get checked. So drove down all the way from perak to get it checked out. Desmond still young as ever. Staff analysed the door and quickly isolated the problem. Was a simple job for experts lol. Happy I manage to sort this out and the car is back to being super silent. Tq people!
