★ ★ ★ ★ ★ for a less expensive alternative to pond fishing (current rate- rm7 whole day), be prepared to travel an hour out of kl and then off-road to reach kolam kok. this place is considered big if you include the 3 ponds to fish in, but most people fish in the smallest pond which can be tight when there are a lot of people. bite rate is high if you use the right type/mix of fish feed.
next to this pond is a bigger one that also has tilapia, patin and sultan fish. but there is a toilet that is sitting right above this pond too, that everybody uses...
the auntie that was in charge is friendly and she sells drinks and pellets.
the only problem for some people may be the smelly air, mostly from the piles of fermented tofu by the ponds which the owners use to feed the fish.

+ up to 1kg tilapia free to take home if you catch them
- pretty far from kl and deep inside
- not enough shade from the sun
- no clean water
- the air smells of fermented tofu all day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was very nice and quiet , very cheap price , prices for food and drinks are reasonable and not overpriced even tho in the middle of nowhere (rm2 for canned drinks or hotcup) but for some reason i went there and started itching all over, not their fault but just heads up if you have sensitive skin
