★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb kopitiam with the nicest loh mee and signature kaya toast! Loh mee has the softest chicken feet and offal. Plenty of other options like wantan mee and chicken rice.
One of the rare places in Penang that still has dishes for less than RM5. The loh mee is only RM4, and toast and drink is RM3.20. Now that's cheap!
Place is just off the main industry road in Simpang Ampat. Spacious for a kopitiam, and staff are welcoming. If you're in the area, definitely worth coming for breakfast or lunch!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crowded, but the people here move fast in taking your orders and delivering the food. Be prepared to share a table. A lot of food choices and they all taste delicious. Truly a convenient place to get your breakfast fix.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional kopitiam. Charcoal toast Benggali bread with their special homemade duck eggs kaya with butter spread. Coffee - strong and aromatic. The place is really crowded.
The best prata ever compare to others. Soft, fluffy prata with spicy, delicious gravy(This is the best prata & gravy I have ever eaten. Recommended)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here’s proof that truly affordable food is also great food. I dare say the dishes here are as good if not better than those found on Penang island. What seals the deal is the price! The lowest priced food found in Malaysia. At this time of writing, a plate of delicious chow koay teow with slices of waxed sausage, shrimps and fish cake slice costs only RM 4. Toast bread is crispy and not too dry, sealing in its charcoal-roasted fragrance. There’s the unique 3 layer toast of butter, kaya and peanut butter. The butter is evenly spread and not lazily dumped as a whole cube onto the bread. Really yummy. Eggs are free-range Kampung chicken eggs that’s served sans the shells. The coffee is also full bodied and aromatic, a surprising find for a simple family-run little shop

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always packed with full house especially during weekend, this coffee shop is famous for his yummy charcoal toast, traditional style made coffee with rich aroma, many visitors are drawn to it. Also, there are nice food such as char koay Teow, fried cellophane noodles, curry noodles, koay Teow soup, hokkien noodles, nasi lemak and many other delicacies. Especially happening in the morning for a rich choice of breakfast. Worth to pay a visit to open your childhood memory box to taste the old way of charcoal toast and coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roti bakar with duck egg kaya tastes great. Curry mee is good and the sisters selling curry mee are extremely friendly. The roti canai is good but the stall helper simply serves the customers disregard who orders first, sometimes those order later got theirs first than those order first. Crowded during weekends, and quite a lot of patrons on weekdays, close on Monday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional Hainan kopitiam, I love the duck egg kaya, authentic taste, must order their roti set. Secondly is the nasi lemak, RM 1 only, cheap and delicious, nasi lemak still warm. I love their teh as well, the teh very similar with Ah Huat brand's Teh C taste, but with cheap price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overly crowded and warm environment on a weekend. There was not even any space to stand and wait for order. There was a waiting time at every stall and did not get to try the famous toast. Only managed to take away some dim sum, chai kuih, wantan mee, prepacked nasi lemak, kuih and coffee/tea. Food were so-so only, Coffee/tea were good.
Good demand, bad supply. Why wouldn't anyone take full advantage of the good business? There were less than 10 tables available for dine in. They could at least expand the space and cater to more customers when clearly there's lack of space and seatings.
Pro: Variety of choices, popular toast bread.
Con: Congested/Overcrowded/Narrow space, super warm and stuffy, long waiting time.
