Unorganized staff that confused our bookings for multiple rooms. Poorly maintained. Cars from parked right infront of our units blocking our places. Good for schools outings, but not good for families with young children.

Highly recommended for those who wanted to see organic farming and nature way of living. But do not be worried, the basic creature comfort are aplenty here. Good food too!

Been here, however, injured my left knee ligament (ACL anterior cruciate ligament to be specific) while sliding down the ‘flying fox’ and got hit hard right on the sharp obstacle (steel ladder), unfortunately the insensible and irresponsible boss didn’t take any drastic or useful measure, good luck for those who is going to visit.

Had a wonderful 3 day 2 nights there with my 3 year old boy. Mr Tam, the owner of the farm is very knowledgeable and gave us a good insight of how an organic farm should be. You can always discuss with him and have your own itinerary set. It should be a chilled experience so don't try to pack too much into a day's programmes. We even managed to do flying fox together with our boy. Star gazing was an amazing experience for us as there was no light pollution from the nearby city. However, be prepared with the mosquitoes! There are lots of them and remember to apply repellents. It's a tropical rainforest anyway, so can't really get rid of them totally.

Super great place to vist and stay if you wanna experience with nature. Enjoy staying in "tree house". Good owner, good food and have such a lovely guide dog as well. Enjoy doing water activities! And don't forget to enjoy firecamp at night! ♡

The boss Mr Tam is very friendly. The staffs are helpful. Food is homecook style and food taste good. Place is cooling and relaxing. We did some farm tour, kayaking, paddy planting however still have more work in progress. Limited Internet connection (so just put away the phone and enjoy the nature.)

Idyllic countryside grassy camping ground with 8 bathrooms, water heaters and water cooler. Facilities are well-maintained and we did not encounter much flies or mosquitos, likely due to herbs being planted everywhere. Activities to keep energetic kids and adults entertained include flying fox, kayaking, eco water slide and pond fishing. There is also a morning farm tour which is included in the fee for visitors. The easy-going and hospitable owner, Mr Tam, bakes bread and banana cakes fresh from the outdoor oven and you can pre-book them ahead for your arrival. Baking enthusiasts might be interested to know there's an outdoor oven on the camp grounds, so enquire about its use during booking. Supplies such as bottled water can also be pre-booked with Mr Tam, so that's one less thing to pack for your trip. The farm dogs are very tame and well-behaved throughout our stay, guarding outside our tents through day and night. The communal areas are well-lit at night but do pack enough battery operated lamps as the camp grounds are not hooked to electrical wires. Although the temperature does drop a bit at night, do bring along battery operated fans/coolers if you are used to sleeping in air-conditioned environment. A clothes line (over 5m) is conveniently set up to dry wet swim wear and whatever else needs to be hung dried. Parking area for cars are not far from the camp grounds. For those who prefer the home-stay experience, there are tree houses available for booking. Meals can be catered by the owner and the delicious food is harvested from their farm. Koref Desaru Leisure Farm is the ideal location for beginner campers and family with young children to experience the great outdoors in a conducive environment. For the busy workers who just can't get a peaceful weekend off, the phone signal is good enough for me to enjoy uninterrupted Spotify music.
