★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kuala Besut sebelumnya hanyalah sebuah perkampungan nelayan kecil terletak di bahagian Utara Terengganu di Malaysia, terletak antara Kota Bharu, Kelantan dan Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. Tapi sekarang semakin membangun, menjadi sebuah pekan yang agak penting kepada pelancong-pelancong kerana merupakan pintu masuk ke Pulau Perhentian, dan Kuala Besat bersempadan dengan Negeri Kelantan.
Kuala Besut juga telah pun di daftarkan sebagai pelabuhan oleh Jabatan Laut Malaysia. Jabatan Laut Malaysia juga telah membina satu "Mariner" iaitu sebuah jeti yang lebih baik untuk perahu-perahu layar ataupun bot-bot mewah berlabuh (berdekatan dengan jeti pelancongan).
Kuala Besut was previously just a small fishing village located in the northern part of Terengganu in Malaysia, located between Kota Bharu, Kelantan and Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. But now it is developing, becoming a town that is quite important to tourists because it is the entrance to Pulau Perhentian, and Kuala Besat borders the State of Kelantan.
Kuala Besut has also been registered as a port by the Malaysian Marine Department. The Malaysian Marine Department has also built a "Mariner" which is a better jetty for yachts or luxury boats docked (close to the tourist jetty).
