I had the private cruise experience which costs around RM600. They will provide snacks and drinks in the boat in case you are hungry/thirsty during the ride. Everyone are required to wear a life jacket and the tour guide will brief everyone on what to do if something went wrong. However, they mentioned that so far nothing bad has happened but its good to be extra careful.
During the cruise, they will show the places that the crocodiles can be seen, the fisherman boats, some background history about the river, the bouys near the seas and more. In the end, you will be given some time to take a picture in the boat with the word KUANTAN in the background. PS if youre lucky, they will also let you drive the boat for a few minutes before the tour ends.
The pillows in the boat are tied to the boat so dont be afraid to use them. I dont recommend wearing a cap or anything that could potentially fly away due to the strong winds. I recommend to book a timeslot that is most probably not going to rain. Its better to ride the boat during hot weather rather than during a raining weather.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth the price. Comfortable boat and snacks are provided in the boat as well. Friendly staffs and tour guide. The tour was very interesting and informative. You can get the full sight of the crocodiles and otters if you’re lucky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first tourist activity after a long lockdown could not have been better. We (a family of 4 with a 4 year old and a 7 year old) boarded at 2pm at low tide. We managed to see several crocodile, mudskippers, otters and sterns which was great for us.
Not only that, the company had prepared lots of snacks and drinks for us to munch on in between moments.
It was also quite interesting to learn about the fishermen.
From first contact until the end of the tour we were taken care of.
Highly recommended if you're in Kuantan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Need to book online because one of the main attraction to come here. Kudos to driver a.k.a tourist guide because he was so friendly and did not hesitate to share a history and all things about Kuantan. Very worthwhile my 1 hour trip in here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful scenery and place just for a relaxing walk. Any time of the day provides with different ambience that would mesmerise any tourist. There's a small playground here, a free scooter rental just in front of McDonald's outlet, and a river cruise that's temporarily closed due to COVID SOP until further notice. Recommended for tourist.
