This place very quickly filled up with people during lunch time and a long queue will start forming. Come earlier if you want to avoid the crowd. They serve great tasting, healthy and cheap vegetarian meal.

Temple is nice, but tourist entrance is limited (which is fine as it is a place of worship). The cafeteria in the back is excellent and open to all. You walk along the left side of the temple to the rear where you will see many great vegetarian options for you to try for great value. There is traditional rice with side dishes in the beginning. Further along, there are other options, such as noodles, rice and soup dishes. Leave room for some pastries or take them with you, after you eat. There are also various items for purchase on the table before the cashier and on the way out. Do a walk through before deciding on what to eat, as there are many options. Enjoy!

Very beautiful and clean Buddhist temple in the heart of KL City. Dìsadvantge is hardly get parking near the temple. Need to make a big round turn back to the temple because all the streets are one way street. Come during CNY, crowded and alot of people. Sadly to see so many foreign beggars with kid. Behind the temple, there is a cafeteria selling vegetarian foods.

The temple is right up front for worshipper as well as tourist to visit, parking is extremely limited hence visitors can park at nearby car park or take the LRT and walk over here. There is a cafeteria at the back of the temple with a multitude of Vegetarian Food Options that you will be amazed (noodles, different types of vegetables, dishes that look and taste like meat but is vegetarian, tofu, popiah and may more) as well as Food & Fruits for sale.

Visited in Feb before the MCO. The Kun Yam Thong is a Buddhist temple. The temple was smaller than I was expecting with one main prayer hall and two subsidiary prayer rooms. Pretty much all the incarnations of Buddha are represented here including the Laughing Buddha, Guan Yin and other Bodhisattvas. The depiction of Guan Yin, as she is shown in her form with a thousand arms and eyes, the many eyes to comprehend the cries for help and hands symbolizing the power to help with her blessings. What’s more, the temple also has a cafeteria where vegetarian meals are served. This was great for me as it meant that I didn’t have to find some place for lunch. Even better, the temple serves Chinese style vegetarian food. As it was near lunchtime when I visited, the food hall was full of diners and many office workers had also come to the temple to offer their prayers too. Although not a large temple, I thought the gild statues of the buddhas were worth a visit since I had combined it with lunch.

This most beautiful Lord Buddha temple on Jalan Ampang is less than a kilometer from Petronas Towers, the main attraction of KL. In this temple are The Divine Mother of Compassion - Guan Yin, Lord Buddha, Laughing Buddha, and Bodhisattvas. This is a very peaceful temple compared to the hustle bustle outside. It is very good for meditation in non peak visitor hours. I have spent much time here. The Temple cafeteria provides very good Vegetarian food. ? Mani Padme Hum ????‍♂️?‍♀️????????‍♀️??‍♂️??
